The Italian team wins at Mugello: Lorenzo starts well and dominates until the end with a gap of more than 6 seconds from his team-mate Dovizioso; the tricolor helmet helps Valentino who comes third, a few centimeters from the wheel of the Dovi, and gives his fans another podium.
The race was characterized by numerous extensions, the most penalizing that at 10 'of Marquez slipped into the gravel and, although reassembled in the saddle, arrives 16th and does not take home a single point.
Throughout the race overtaking were surprising: the first starting with a dubious maneuver by Marquez on Petrucci, then overtaking and re-overtaking for the fight of third place: in the first there were Rossi, Iannone and Petrucci and in the last Rins and Crutchlow were added. The driver from Terni, however, had to give up his dream: overtaken Rossi at 13 lap and conquered the third position, the degradation of the tires, stressed during the comeback of the first laps, forced him to cede the place and to retreat until the seventh position.

Dovizioso: "Lorenzo did a perfect race. I tried to reach him, but I thought above all about the points for the Championship. I'm happy for Ducati who made the first and second place at Mugello.
